This is part 2 of Cayce Fragments. Audio visual work exploring the writing and recordings of Edgar Cayce and his followers. In Cayce’s story of Atlantis, a civilisation that drew immense power from giant crystals.
In Cayce’s account, the technology brought prosperity but also caused repeated disasters. Despite the warnings, the Atlanteans continued to rely on it until their civilisation was ultimately destroyed. A central theme in Cayce’s Atlantis myth is the choice between two paths: the Sons of Belial, who pursued power, material gain and self-interest, and the Law of One, which emphasised spiritual unity, responsibility and service to others.
These are familiar human questions about technology, progress, greed, wisdom and our tendency to repeat mistakes even when the consequences are clear.
